Building on our previous project Our Plants, Our Heritage, Multicultural Women Victoria launched Multicultural Women Fashion—a creative extension that transforms 25 meters of hand-printed fabric into a vibrant capsule collection.
In partnership with The Social Studio, our participants worked collaboratively to turn their designs into wearable garments. In May 2025, the collection was brought to life through a photoshoot led by an all-women multicultural team of designers, stylists, models, and a photographer.
The resulting collection and images were selected to feature in MPavilion’s program and proudly showcased as part of Melbourne Fashion Week, celebrating culture, creativity, and the power of community-driven fashion.
