This project is a collaboration between artist Humaira Fayazi (Afghanistan) and Sofie Dieu (France), co-created with Afghan women in the City of Casey. Together, they made a series of clay masks expressing the women’s stories and displacement journeys. The masks were later performed by Humaira in her traditional Hazara dress and photographed by Sofie.
